I've been feeling kinda sad lately. I dunno why. It must be the weather. After several weeks of sunshine, it's reverted to being quite grey. I'm sorry I don't have anything more interesting to talk about. They're just not that much going on. It's kinda like the calm before the storm- it's all quiet before the holidays begin to swing. But we have our Christmas tree up already.

My sister is home from university, sick. But she's on the road to recovery! That only means that I have to drive her back up there later this week.

Exams are coming up soon! I'm not looking forward to them. I've always hated tests, thought they were really a waste of time seeing as there are so many people out there who are brilliant, but they aren't good at taking tests. Oh, and speaking of tests, I have the ACT coming up next weekend.

I hurt my wrist back in May. It started hurting again about a month after we thought we had healed it up. So on the 15th, I will be going to the doctor, AGAIN, to get this freakin' huge shot that will put me out of commission for a few days. Fun!

So, finals this week, ACT next week, doctor's appointment the next week, and then Christmas!

I've also been feeling really bored lately. I mean, more than the usual boredom a homeschooler can expect. We're going on a trip the weekend, my parents and I. We're visiting my parent's old friends. They're fossils, so I plan to be especially bored.

Gah, why can I do nothing but complain today? I'm sorry!!!!! I'm really sorry that I've only been talking about depressing stuff. I'm telling you, the weather is really messing with me. I always get sad/tired on rainy days. And sometimes, you need to rant a little, you know? This is one of those times for me, I guess!!

On the bright side, I've almost finished getting all of my friends' Christmas presents together! I finished my family's a little while ago, and now they're nestled safely under the tree!

And now I'm going to stop my depressing talks and go eat ice cream. Because when you're really down, ice cream makes all the difference.
